Took 2 granddaughters, wonderful time. Dublin first, great city with lots of history. Then train ride to Cork. Castlemartyr is a great resort. Kissed the stone at Blarney Castle. Cooking school was fun for kids and adults. On to Killarney for rides on jaunty carts. Killarney is an exciting city; next to Dromoland Castle, Cliffs of Moher, wonderful.
Most Memorable Moment:
Falconry and Cliffs of Moher.
Really astonishing to accomplish all that we did in one short week! From the minute our tour started, we were on the go! As usual, beautiful accommodations and meals. SO many brilliant activities for the kids (and the young-at-heart). The only thing I would've liked was a little bit of "down time" so my little one could've enjoyed the pool(s) more.
Most Memorable Moment:
Our Viking Splash tour was fantastic! From the second we donned our Viking helmets and started yelling at unsuspecting 'Celts' on the street, it was a great time. Also, the family game day at Castlemartyr: Driving the pony and trap, and hurling with the local girls was SO FUN!
