    Climb along a glacier in a specially designed Ice Explorer. Discover fossils in a canyon once covered by a prehistoric sea. Go whitewater rafting on the Athabasca River.     Making a splash on the Athabasca River

    Pile into a rubber raft with your family and new Tauck Bridges friends for an adrenaline-pumping ride along the whitewaters of Alberta's glacier-fed Athabasca River, fresh from the Columbia Icefield, where the wilderness and the sparkling waters will take your breath away. Check out some waterfalls and other amazing scenery on the way. It's a perfect adventure for beginners... and experienced rafters too!

    Frozen magic aboard an Ice Explorer

    Glaciers owned the landscapes of the Canadian Rockies for centuries, "freeze-framing" the wilderness you see today. So how do you walk on a glacier whose ice is hundreds of years old? Very carefully! Actually, on your family's visit to the Columbia Icefield's Athabasca Glacier in Jasper National Park, a giant Ice Explorer vehicle takes you to a spot where you can get out for a slippery stroll across glacial ice more than 400 years old! But if you hear ice cracking, don't worry... it's just a glacier thing.
