Still, we recognize the need to pause. Due to continued uncertainty about our ability to deliver the level of experience you expect from Tauck, and consistent with the latest guidance from the U.S. State Department, we’ve decided to cancel all land tours and cruises with departure dates through July 31, 2020.
Please do not call Tauck at this time. If you are scheduled to travel with us on a cancelled journey, Tauck or your travel advisor will be calling you to discuss your options. We will be making calls in chronological order, reaching out to those guests scheduled to travel soonest, and we greatly appreciate your patience and understanding while we work through these calls.

If you are scheduled to travel with Tauck on September 1, 2020 and beyond: At present, all of Tauck's standard cancellation policies apply for our land tours and cruises scheduled for September 1, 2020 and beyond. Should our plans or policies change, we will notify you promptly. We understand that you may have questions, and we are doing our best to provide timely responses to all guests. However, please know that our short-term priority is servicing guests whose Tauck journeys have been cancelled, and those guests whose departure dates are closest in. Your patience and understanding are sincerely appreciated.
To Our Guests with 2020 Journeys Featuring the Oberammergau Passion Play –
Thank you for your patience and understanding following the recent announcement that the 2020 performances of the Oberammergau Passion Play have been postponed until 2022. In the time since the announcement, we’ve been working diligently to provide the best possible options to you and our other impacted guests.
If you haven’t already, you’ll soon be receiving an email that reviews the options below, and provides a link to an online form where you can indicate your preferred choice. Please be sure to complete this form promptly upon receiving the email. Making your selection won’t obligate you to anything, but it will allow us to follow up with you more efficiently and effectively.

We understand that experiencing the Passion Play may be a long-held dream for you, and we’re happy to preserve your opportunity to witness this incredible event. To see the Passion Play in 2022 with Tauck, simply transfer your existing booking to the same tour itinerary or river cruise with a corresponding or similar date in 2022.
Please note that final departure dates will be confirmed shortly, and we’ll reach out to find the date that works best for you. Demand for the Passion Play performances in 2022 promises to be incredibly strong and this option will allow you to secure your spot in advance until final dates are announced.
You can leave 100% of the funds paid toward your tour or river cruise in a Tauck Travel Wallet, and it will be our pleasure to increase that amount by an additional USD $500* per traveler for guests who have already made their final payment, and $250* per traveler for those guests who have paid their initial deposit only.
When you’re ready to book your next vacation, you’ll be free to apply 100% of those funds to any 2020 or 2021 Tauck journey, giving you flexibility, peace of mind, and the welcome joy of having something wonderful to plan and look forward to.

Guests who booked and paid for their flights through Tauck will receive a full refund of their airfare including change fees, if applicable. Guests who booked their flights directly with the airline will need to contact the airline for reimbursement. Most airlines are currently waiving change fees. However, for non-Tauck flights we will reimburse change fees up to USD $250* per person with the submission of a receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please allow up to two weeks for any refunds to arrive.
